Green port is a model of a seaport aiming at harmonizing the relationship between economic development and environmental protection.

The development of seaports in the direction of "green ports" is environmentally friendly to limit pollution by shipping activities and waste from seaports.

The target set is that 100% of Vietnam's seaports will be recognized as green ports by 2050.
